【摘要】:1.1ThispartofISO7539coversproceduresfordesigning,preparingandusingpre-crackedspecimensforinvestigatingthesusceptibilityofmetaltostresscorrosioncrackingbymeansoftestsconductedunderrisingloadorrisingdisplacement.TestsconductedunderconstantloadorconstantdisplacementaredealtwithinISO7539-6.Theterm"metal"asusedinthispartofISO7539includesalloys.1.2Becauseoftheneedtoconfineplasticitytothecracktip,pre-crackedspecimensarenotsuitablefortheevaluationofthinproductssuchassheetorwireandaregenerallyusedforthickerproductsincludingplate,barandforgings.Theycanalsobeusedforpartsjoinedbywelding.1.3Pre-crackedspecimensmaybestressedquantitativelywithequipmentforapplicationofamonotonicallyincreasingloadordisplacementattheloadingpoints.1.4Aparticularadvantageofpre-crackedspecimensisthattheyallowdatatobeacquiredfromwhichcriticaldefectsizes,abovewhichstresscorrosioncrackingmayoccur,canbeestimatedforcomponentsofknowngeometrysubjectedtoknownstresses.Theyalsoenableratesofstresscorrosioncrackpropagationtobedetermined.Q1.5Aprincipaladvantageofthetestisthatittakesintoaccountthepotentialimpactofdynamicstrainingonthethresholdforstresscorrosioncracking.1.6AtsufficientlyIowloadingrates,theKiSCCdeterminedbythismethodcanbelessthanorequaltothatobtainedbyconstantloadordisplacementmethodsandcanbedeterminedmorerapidly.
