【摘要】:1ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesthedimensionaltolerancesforsteeldropandverticalpressforgingsmadeunderhammersandpresses.ThefirstpartofthisEuropeanStandardappliestohotforgingsinthedeliverycondition,madeincarbonandalloysteels.Thetolerancesspecifiedapplytoforgingsnotexceeding250kginmassor2500mmmaximumdimension.Tolerancesforheavierorlargerforgingsshallbeagreedatthetimeofenquiryandorder.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotapplytoupsetforgingsmadeonhorizontalforgingmachines(seeEN10243-2).2ThetolerancesshowninthisEuropeanStandardcoverbothforgingstonormalrequirementsandforgingstoacloserrangeoftolerances.Thesetwogradesoftolerancesareidentifiedasfollows:—forginggradeFwithtolerancesprovidinganadequatestandardofaccuracyforthemajorityofapplicationsandcapableofbeingcompliedwithbycommonlyusedforgingequipmentandproductionmethods;—forginggradeEprovidingclosertolerancestoassistinacommodatingthoseinstancesinwhichthenormalmanufacturingstandardsareinadequate.WhilegradeE(close)tolerancesmaybeappliedtoalldimensionsononeforging,itismoreeconomicaltoapplythemonlytothosespecificdimensionsonwhichclosertolerancesareessential.Thisgradeshouldnotbespecifiedunlesstheadditionalforgingcostentailedcanbejustifiedbyaconsequentsavinginoverallcost.ThetablesshowingdimensionaltolerancesarebasedontheR20seriesofpreferrednumbers(seeISO3).AnnexAgivesforinformationsomeexamplesoftheapplicationofthesetolerancesfordifferenttypesofcloseddieforgings.3Anyoccasionalinstancesmaynecessitatetheuseoftoleranceswiderthanthoseindicated,e.g.speciallycomplicateddesignsandsteelshavingparticularlydifficultforgingcharacteristics.Insuchcasesthesestandardtolerancescanformonlyabasisonwhichtoagreemodificationsappropriatetotheparticularcircumstances.4ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotincluderangesofspecialtolerancescloserthangradeE.Suchrequirementsusuallynecessitatesupplementaryoperations,e.g.hotorcoldcoiningorspecialprocessessuchaswarmorcoldforging.Considerationsofthisnature,whilstfrequentlyencountered,arehighlyindividual,andvarywidely.Theyarebestdealtwithbyconsultationatthedesignstageandshallbeagreedbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplier.Thisapproachwillensurethatoptimumuseismadeoftheforgingprocessinfulfillingthepurchaser'sspecialrequirementsatthelowestadditionalcost.
